Abstract

Liquid waste problem or known as leachate caused by trash heap on Sukawinatan Landfill has caused environmental issue for surrounding people. Beside the pungent smell, the condition of polluted drinking water will have a bad impact. Therefore it is necessary to do the measurement to know pollutant distribution on Sukawinatan Landfill area to get information about quality of surface water and groundwater with the Geoelectric Resistivity method.. The community was given an introduction to measurement techniques to determine the predicted direction of leachate distribution around the Sukawinatan landfill and recommendations regarding water free of leachate pollutants.
