Abstract

Knowledge of plastik waste must be sought early. This is done to reduce the use of plastik which is increasing every year. One way to do is to provide knowledge to elementary school children about the basic information on plastik waste. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide counseling on plastik waste, its dangers, and handling plastik waste with the 3R concept to the younger generation, especially elementary school students. This activity was carried out at SDN 08 Semambu Village, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra, through counseling methods using audio-visual and discussion. The results of the activities show the success of adding students' knowledge of the dangers and ways of processing plastik waste which are supported by an increase in the results of knowledge in the pre-test and post-test.
